Design, build, race, and win!

There are many different jobs that need to be done within the team, both engineering and logistical. The tasks our members have to perform range from contacting sponsors to constructing 3D models of the car to implementing and testing software for autonomous racing to organising the logistics for the competition- and press events! Our team employs a highly diverse group of students with various technical and cultural backgrounds to ensure that the team is firing on all cylinders and spinning all four wheels throughout the entirety of the season!

2020 was a year of uncertainties; who are we to tell you... But you may also have heard that TU Delft used that time to start a redirection program to prompt more innovative and socially relevant projects.

To our surprise, the committee have decided our autonomous cars are NOT. This means that we will not be able to use the D:Dreamhall facilities during the 2021/22 season. A big blow?

Well, owed to Covid, we are not able to use them now, either; and we still make do! Having just acquired our own machines (pictured!), we also have a fully equipped workshop available next to our office in the Schiehal in Delft. Other work has been outsourced or takes place at some of our partners' facilities.
