Formula Student Team Delft was created in 1999, and in the space of just one year, our dedicated crew managed to get the team off the ground, gather sponsors, and construct a functioning racing car. Our first effort, the DUT01, affectionately named "Betsy", did not endure the most successful competition season, but nonetheless placed 1st among the rookies (first-time competitors) at Formula Student UK making them rookie of the year!
