Adapting a radically new design strategy, this year our team decided to focus first and foremost on making the car as light as possible. Strategies such as implementing systems engineering techniques and using a 1-cylinder engine paid off. The result was a truly spectacular car weighing only 135kg (cars weighed 225kg on average that year), winning the Engineering Design event of FSUK.
